Location: On-site in Chantilly, VA (Full-Time).
Mission software only works if it's tested like it matters. You'll own quality for web applications and API-driven systems that support a federal national-security mission, building automated coverage that lets the team ship with confidence.
What you'll do
Test web applications end to end for functionality, performance and usability
Validate REST API endpoints behind API gateways using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI
Build and maintain automated test suites in Cypress (or similar) and wire them into CI/CD
Run regression, integration and system testing across environments
Write clear defect reports and work with developers and product owners in Agile sprints
What you bring (required)
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
3+ years in software testing or QA
Hands-on testing of web applications and RESTful APIs (HTTP, JSON, API authentication)
Test automation with Cypress or an equivalent framework
Scripting in JavaScript (Python or Java also fine)
Experience on Agile/Scrum teams
Nice to have
Testing distributed systems or API gateways
Selenium, Jenkins or other CI/CD tooling
Git
Performance or load testing tools
AWS or Azure
